미국에서 소다 주스 (등) 마시고 나면 캔들과 병들이 집에 많이 쌓이시죠? 그것들을 버리지 마시고 리사이클링을 하시는게 어떠세요? 

그럼 좋은 혜택이 있습니다. 환경도 보호하고 용돈도 마련할 수 있어서 일석이조입니다.^^

After drinking soda bottles, juice bottles, water bottles, etc., do you have lots of empty cans and bottles at home? How about recycling them without throwing them away? 

There are benefits by doing that. You can protect the environment and also earn some money for yourself.^^

Orange County에 리사이클링 하는 데가 많은데요. 제가 가본데 중에 추천하는 Orange County 리사이클링 센터는 어바인, 캘리포니아에 있는 코스트코 리사이클링 센터입니다. 

There are lots of recycling centers in Orange County, but I would recommend the Costco Recycling Center.

Recycling Center에 가면, 병, 캔, 유리병들을 개인이 분류해야 됩니다. 

분류하는 통과 담을 수 있는 큰 통은 가면 빌려줍니다. 리사이클할 때 되게 간단하고 쉬운데, 분류하는 부분이 조금 힘들고 오래 걸릴 수도 있습니다. 

When you get there, you will have to separate them and sort them. 

They let you borrow big bins and somewhere to sort them. I think the sorting part took the most time and the most work. 

 

 

 

 

그럼, 무게를 재서 총금액을 영수증에 써서 같이 줍니다. 

제가 코스트코 리사이클링 센터를 좋아했던 이유는 금액이 나오면 바로 현금으로 바꿔줍니다. 

Then, weight it, and they trade it to cash. They also give you a receipt.   

The reason I like the Costco recycling center is that they trade you to cash right away. 

(Some other recycling centers have you go somewhere else to pick up the cash.)
